Doll of the month for april is a young nature fairy. she is easy to see with her burning red hair, but she can also hide between the wild flowers or red leaves. it is easy to move her and make her look alive. when she is sitting, her hands can be pushed a little backwards. then she can lean and get a nice position if you want to place her indoor. her legs can also be moved to another position and that makes it possible to see her in a new way., my fourth book pixie felt has just been printed in the 2. edition., the doll of the month for may is this little baby boy who joined me in the garden yesterday on one of the most beautiful days of tender spring. he made this day in the garden very special because he made me look even more at the flowering plants., there is still a possibility to join my animal course in göttingen, germany.
you can see more about the course at www.filzrausch.de, i just returned from a course-tour to the firm filzrausch in germany.the theme was animal felt and it was so exiting and really wonderfull to se how the differennimals grew out of the carded -and the raw fleece.
many people think it is very difficult to make an animal, but the students use my technique where they learn to devide the animals body in parts and analyse the proportions and it is in fact easier to make an animal than to make the human body.
